Store Supervisor

As a Store Keeper at Goel Enterprises, Chandigarh, your role will be crucial in managing and maintaining inventory levels to ensure the smooth operation of our store. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing goods and supplies, maintaining accurate records, and keeping the store environment clean and organized. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods and supplies. - Store items in an orderly and accessible manner. - Issue goods and supplies to employees or customers as needed. - Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and regular updates. - Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies. - Ensure the store area is clean, organized, and hazard-free. - Monitor stock levels and report low inventory to the purchasing department. - Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely replenishment of stock. - Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies. - Implement safety and security procedures to protect inventory. - Assist in the preparation of reports related to inventory, sales, and expenses. Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus. - 5 years of proven experience as a store keeper, inventory manager, or similar role. - Knowledge of proper inventory management practices and procedures. - Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to lift and move heavy items as required. - Familiarity with safety and security procedures related to inventory management. Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Salary: 18k-22k based on experience and qualifications.
