list of Roles & Responsibilities of Store Staff in a Retail Store 👇 1. Customer ServiceGreet customers and assist them with their needs. Provide product information and guidance. Handle complaints and resolve customer issues politely. 2. Sales SupportAchieve sales targets through upselling and cross-selling. Inform customers about ongoing offers and promotions. Ensure proper product display to attract buyers. 3. Store OperationsMaintain cleanliness and organization in the store. Assist in opening and closing procedures. Follow company policies and standard operating procedures. 4. Merchandising & Stock ManagementReplenish shelves and ensure stock availability. Check expiry dates and product conditions. Assist in inventory counting and stock audits. 5. Billing & Cash HandlingOperate POS (Point of Sale) system for billing. Handle cash, card, and digital transactions accurately. Maintain proper records of sales and returns. 6. TeamworkCoordinate with colleagues and managers to ensure smooth store functioning. Support in promotional events and campaigns.
