Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of employees across various departments.

  • Operational Excellence:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee stock management, including ordering, inventory control, and loss prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Customer Engagement:

  • Champion a customer-first culture, resolving complaints and ensuring a high-quality shopping experience.
  • Analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
  • Sales & Financial Management:

  • Drive sales growth by analyzing market trends, setting targets, and implementing promotional strategies.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, expense management, and profit optimization.
  • Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and customer trends to inform business decisions.
  • Merchandising & Marketing:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute in-store promotions and events.
  • Oversee visual merchandising standards, ensuring attractive product displays and signage.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a hypermarket or large-format store.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of team development and motivation.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
