Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Inventory & Material Management

Manage and monitor all store operations including receipt, storage, and issue of electronic components, mechanical parts, packing materials, and consumables.
Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/Inventory Management System.
Implement proper material identification, labeling, and binning to ensure easy traceability.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile variances.
Maintain optimal stock levels (min-max control) to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

2. Receiving & Inspection

Coordinate with quality and purchase teams for incoming material inspection and acceptance.
Ensure correct documentation during material receipt (GRN, invoices, delivery challans, etc.).
Handle ESD-sensitive and moisture-sensitive components as per standard handling procedures.

3. Material Issuance & Control

Ensure timely and accurate issuance of materials to production lines as per material requisitions or BOMs.
Implement FIFO / FEFO systems to minimize obsolescence.
