As a Store In-Charge at our construction sites, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, procurement coordination, and ERP-based stock monitoring. Your expertise in material handling, logistics, and compliance will ensure seamless store operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Inventory Management:** - Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure timely procurement of materials. - Regularly update stock records and track inventory movement using ERP systems. - Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliations to avoid shortages or excess inventory. - **Material Handling & Storage:** - Receive, inspect, and store construction materials as per company standards. - Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and safety protocols in the storage area. - **ERP Management:** - Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or equivalent). - Generate reports on procurement, consumption, and stock reconciliation. - Coordinate with finance and procurement teams to update stock data in real time. - **Coordination & Logistics:** - Work closely with procurement and project teams to ensure timely material availability. - Organize transportation and logistics for material deliveries to sites. - **Compliance & Documentation:** - Ensure that received materials match purchase orders and invoices. - Maintain records of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), issue slips, return notes, and other documentation. - Adhere to safety and compliance regulations related to construction material handling. - **Team Management:** - Supervise storekeepers and helpers to ensure smooth store operations. - Train team members on best practices for store management and ERP usage. **Qualification Required:** - Experience: 5+ years in store management in the construction industry, with ERP knowledge - Education: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field **Key Skills & Competencies:** - Strong knowledge of construction materials and inventory management. - Proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or industry-specific ERPs). - Excellent coordination and communication skills. - Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines. - Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in construction stores In addition, the job type for this position is permanent.
