About the Role

Store Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Receive, check, and verify all incoming materials, supplies, and equipment
Ensure quality, quantity, and documentation accuracy during receiving
Maintain updated stock records in the inventory management system
Issue materials to departments as per approved requisitions
Monitor stock levels and inform the Purchase team about low or critical stock
Arrange and label items properly to maintain an organized store area
Assist in monthly stock-taking and variance reporting
Maintain hygiene, safety, and compliance as per hotel standards
Coordinate with vendors, Purchase team, and Accounts for GRN, invoices, and approval
Support audits by ensuring accurate records and timely submission of reports

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma
Experience in hospitality stores or a similar role preferred
Good knowledge of inventory management processes
Basic computer skills, MS Office, and familiarity with hotel inventory systems
Strong attention to detail and accountability
