Role & responsibilities

Technical Research Analyst

1) Conduct comprehensive technical analysis of US equities, ETFs, and indices traded through CFDs using price action, indicators, and volume analysis.

2) Monitor market trends, sector performance, and inter-market relationships affecting US equities.

3) Analyse historical price data to identify recurring patterns, breakouts, reversals, and momentum shifts.

4) Prepare daily, weekly, and event-based technical outlooks for US markets.

5) Design, test, and refine intraday, swing, and positional CFD trading strategies suitable for leveraged trading and large capital deployment.

6) Apply advanced technical tools such as moving averages, oscillators, trend analysis, Fibonacci levels, support/resistance, and volatility indicators.

7) Evaluate and optimize trading strategies (e.g., moving average and RSI-based setups) by applying them to historical US stock price data over the past 35 years using back-testing, forward-testing, and performance metrics.

8) Demonstrate strong understanding of trading psychology, behavioural biases, and emotional discipline in leveraged trading environments.

9) Prepare detailed technical research and trading reports with clear trade rationale, risk reward analysis, and performance tracking.

10) Use Excel and data analytics to organize, clean, and analyse historical and live market data.

11) Maintain structured documentation of strategies, trade logs, and performance evaluations.

12) Track global economic indicators, macroeconomic events, earnings announcements, and geopolitical developments impacting US markets.

13) Stay updated with global market practices, broker platforms, and CFD trading regulations.

14) Actively engage with market communities via Twitter, YouTube, and professional forums like Seeking alpha, Trading view, Stock analysis, Investing.com etc to monitor sentiment and industry insights.

15) Leverage AI-driven platforms and analytical tools to identify patterns, enhance technical analysis, improve strategy validation, and support data-driven trading decisions.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Strong

  mathematical, statistical, and analytical aptitude

• Educational background:
• B.Com / BBA / MBA / PGDM (Finance)
• NCFM / CFA / CMT certifications preferred
• Any graduate or post-graduate with strong trading knowledge and practical market experience
• Minimum

  45 years of relevant experience

  in technical analysis and trading
• Proven exposure to

  US equity markets, indices, and derivatives

• Proficiency in

  Excel, data analysis tools, and charting platforms

• Strong communication and reporting skills
