Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team. The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, supporting food preparation areas, and ensuring all equipment is clean, sanitized, and properly stored. Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and back-of-house areas, including floors, walls, and surfaces. Assist with the proper waste disposal and recycling procedures. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times. Organize and store all kitchen equipment and supplies neatly. Support chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring work areas are stocked and clean. Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly. Follow hotel policies and procedures, including hygiene and safety regulations. Requirements: Prior experience as a steward or kitchen helper preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods. Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
