Job Description

We are looking for a Steno Secretary (Male) based in Marine Lines, Mumbai

Position Steno Secretary (Male)

Location: Marine Lines, Mumbai

Experience: 0.6 Months to 5 Years

CTC: Up to ₹30,000 to ₹45,000 per month

Employment Type: Full-time

Industry: Corporate / Administrative Support

Education: Graduate / Diploma in Secretarial Practice or Stenography (preferred).

Location: Must be willing to work from Marine Lines, Mumbai.

Gender: Male candidates preferred.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Steno Secretary (Male) who will be responsible for providing administrative, stenographic, and secretarial support to senior management. The ideal candidate should possess basic shorthand skills, strong communication abilities, and the capability to handle documentation, typing, and day-to-day office tasks with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Stenography & Documentation

Take dictations in shorthand and transcribe them accurately into digital or printed format.

Draft, type, and prepare letters, emails, memos, reports, and other official correspondence.

Maintain accurate records, documents, and filing systems (physical and digital).

Administrative & Office Support

Manage daily office activities, including scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.

Handle incoming and outgoing communication, including calls, emails, and letters.

Assist in preparation of presentations, reports, and administrative documents.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and official information at all times.

Coordination & Follow-up

Coordinate with internal teams, staff members, and external visitors as required.

Follow up on pending tasks, documents, correspondences, and assigned activities.

Support senior management in arranging meetings, travel schedules, and documentation.

General Office Duties

Ensure proper documentation of meeting minutes and action points.

Maintain office supplies and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.

Perform any additional administrative duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Competencies

Basic shorthand and typing proficiency.

Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work with confidentiality, discipline, and time management.

Professional attitude and willingness to learn.
