Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Nagpur for the role of Steel Furnace Watcher. The primary responsibilities include monitoring the operation of steel furnaces to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. The Steel Furnace Watcher will oversee furnace temperatures and maintain operational standards, perform regular inspections, assist in troubleshooting technical problems, and report any malfunctions promptly. Collaboration with the maintenance team and adherence to workplace safety regulations are integral parts of this role.

Qualifications

• Understanding of steel furnace operations, including monitoring temperature levels and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues in an industrial environment
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in manufacturing or industrial facilities
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with team members
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in related fields is an advantage
• Physical capability to perform tasks in a high-temperature industrial setting
• Previous experience in a similar role or industrial environment is preferred
