Job Description – Statistical Analyst (Census Expertise & Willing to Travel in Kerala)

We are hiring a qualified Statistical Analyst with strong experience in census studies and field-level data operations. The candidate must be willing to travel throughout Kerala for surveys, data verification, and project coordination. Retired statistical professionals and freelancers with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct census-related studies, surveys, and demographic data collection across Kerala.
• Analyse datasets and prepare statistical reports, tables, and summaries.
• Carry out onsite data verification, audits, and coordination with local teams.
• Assist in developing survey formats, sampling techniques, and field methodologies.
• Present findings and insights in a clear, structured manner to project heads.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of all collected data.

Eligibility & Skills

• Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Statistics (Mandatory)

Only candidates with an M.Sc in Statistics are eligible to apply.

• Strong knowledge of census operations, survey methods, and statistical techniques.
• Proficiency in statistical tools (Excel/SPSS/R/Python) preferred.
• Willingness to travel anywhere across Kerala.
• Good communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Retired Statistical Analysts and freelancers with relevant expertise may also apply.

Job Types: Internship, Freelance, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
