Static Equipment Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Static Equipment Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the design, analysis, and specification of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and columns. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop static equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and other related equipment, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.

- Conduct design calculations, stress analysis, and other engineering assessments for static equipment using specialized software (e.g. PV Elite, NozzlePro, HTRI)

- Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, technical specifications, and reports.

- Review and interpret project specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, EN, API) to ensure designs meet the required criteria.

- Assist in the selection and sizing of materials and components, considering mechanical properties, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

- Participate in design reviews and client meetings, providing technical support and recommendations.

- Troubleshoot design-related issues and provide solutions to improve functionality and efficiency.

- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes related to static equipment design.
