State Head - Property Valuations

Job Summary:

• The State Head will be responsible for overseeing all the aspects of that particular branch covering a certain region that will include both the technical aspects of property valuations, and management part.
• The person has to ensure accuracy, compliance with relevant regulations and building byelaws and efficiency in the valuation process.
• This role involves finalizing valuation reports and final level of closure with the clients regarding the reports and fees.
• This role involves hiring resources, people management, client management and business development.
• Role also involves showing and developing their interpersonal skills like teamwork, developing verbal and non-verbal communication, active listening, problem solving, adaptability, feedback discussion, negotiation, self-confidence, building trust and leadership.
• The Branch Head must maintain and develop relationship with the clients and need to take regular feedback regarding service quality and TAT.
• This role involves high negotiation skills in deciding upon property rates and high level of communication skills to deliver their commitments.
• It involves handling the entire team of surveyors, operations, technical managers and senior technical managers and managing their productivity to ensure smooth closure of reports on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and supervise property valuations.
• Finalize technical reports and ensure compliance and building byelaws.
• Ensure that the quality of valuation reports is standard, and market values are correctly estimated & maintain high quality of report & TAT.
• Adhere to bank's risk/credit/technical teams guidelines
• Use various valuation methodologies for accurate valuations.
• Coordinate with team, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Hiring of resources and business development.
• Maintain all relevant documents and data related to valuations.
• Client Acquisition & Relationship Building.
• Building Strategic Relationship with Clients.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education:

  B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech- Civil, PGP Construction Management / MBA from NICMAR / RICS will be preferred.

• Experience:

  3+ years of experience in Valuation Stream preferred.

Skills:

Team Management Skills, Technical & Functional Expertise, Strong Communication & Analytical Skills, Good Knowledge of MS Office.
