Cloud Cost Analysis Reporting:
Monitor and analyze cloud spending across multiple platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to identify cost drivers, trends, and anomalies. Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
Optimization Efficiency:
Partner with engineering and product teams to recommend and implement cost-optimization strategies such as rightsizing, scheduling, reserved instances, savings plans, and storage optimization.
Budgeting Forecasting:
Support cloud budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis. Provide insights into spend efficiency and assist in developing financial models for future growth.
Governance Management:
Contribute to the development of FinOps frameworks and standards to ensure transparency, accountability and efficiency across cloud environments.
Collaboration Enablement:
Work cross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, and Cloud Operations teams to promote FinOps best practices, enabling teams to make data-driven cost decisions.
Tooling Automation:
Leverage native and third party tools to automate cost tracking, alerting, and reporting.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in cloud cost management, FinOps, financial analysis, or cloud operations.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cost management tools.
- Strong Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana).
- Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred): FinOps Certified Practitioner, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or similar.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, communication, stakeholder management, and business acumen.
