Naukri link to apply - https://a.peoplehum.com/5afl4 Title: Staff Accountant Reports to: Manager Finance, Controller Department: Finance Employment Type: Full-time Job Description: This position is responsible for general accounting functions and ensuring financial statements are accurate. The role includes: Recording journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, Prepaid Accounting and Monthly accruals/Subsequent Settlements. The Staff Accountant must be able to effectively communicate in a professional manner with both internal and external customers. Working with Finance team members and other internal departments, ensure financial transactions are recorded properly and timely. Essential Functions: Record needed journal entries Reconcile general ledger accounts Independently analyze each GL account and support Audits Interacts frequently with inter-departmental associates for the purpose of resolving outstanding issues Cash Forecasting Perform related duties and special projects as assigned Required Skills/Experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent 5+ years experience in GL, Prepaid accounting and Accruals Must be proficient in working with high volume and tight deadlines. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work well with individuals at all levels inside and outside of the organization Preferred Skills/Experience: 5+ years experience in GL Accounting Knowledge of NetSuite Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands Competencies Planning/Organizing Accuracy Communication Proficiency Adaptability Initiative Use of Technology
