We are seeking an experienced WordPress & PHP Developer with strong leadership skills to join our tech team in a UK shift role . This position is ideal for someone who can take charge of development projects, lead a team, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with international client standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead WordPress & PHP development projects from planning to deployment. Develop and maintain custom themes, plugins, and modules. Ensure websites are responsive, secure, and optimized for performance. Manage a team of developers, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery. Collaborate with SEO, design, and content teams to meet project objectives. Handle client communication and requirement gathering during UK business hours. Conduct regular code reviews and mentor junior team members. Maintain proper documentation, backups, and version control using Git. Stay updated with industry trends and suggest improvements in process and tech. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3–5 years of experience in WordPress & PHP development . Strong command over HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL . Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery). Good understanding of website security, performance, and SEO. Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations. Familiar with Git and project tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp. Prior team handling experience or mentoring role is a must. Comfortable working in a UK shift. Nice to Have: Experience with WooCommerce, Laravel, or CodeIgniter. Knowledge of cPanel, WHM, and hosting environments. Basic server management experience.
