Key Responsibilities:

• Lead WordPress & PHP development projects from planning to deployment.
• Develop and maintain custom themes, plugins, and modules.
• Ensure websites are responsive, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Manage a team of developers, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with SEO, design, and content teams to meet project objectives.
• Handle client communication and requirement gathering during UK business hours.
• Conduct regular code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Maintain proper documentation, backups, and version control using Git.
• Stay updated with industry trends and suggest improvements in process and tech.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in 

  WordPress & PHP development

  .
• Strong command over 

  HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL

  .
• Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
• Good understanding of website security, performance, and SEO.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiar with Git and project tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
• Prior team handling experience or mentoring role is a must.
• Comfortable working in a UK shift.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with WooCommerce, Laravel, or CodeIgniter.
• Knowledge of cPanel, WHM, and hosting environments.
• Basic server management experience.
