Roles and Responsibilities
Provide Level 3 technical support for complex Citrix and NetScaler environments.Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Citrix infrastructure including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix Cloud, and Citrix NetScaler ADC (MPX/VPX).Perform advanced diagnostics and tuning of NetScaler Gateway, load balancing, and content switching features.Manage and optimize a range of VDI environments, including VMware Horizon, Citrix, and Azure Virtual Desktop.Oversee day-to-day operations of VMware vSphere, including performance analysis, disk/network configuration, patching, and remediation.Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring infrastructure issues.Apply industry best practices to maintain performance, availability, and security of virtualized infrastructure.Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, runbooks, and environment diagrams.Act as a technical escalation point within the Managed Services team.Ensure timely and professional handling of incidents, service requests, and changes"aligned to SLA.Collaborate with the Manager, Technical Operations to deliver client-specific technical solutions and roadmap planning.Stay updated with the latest advancements in virtualization and Citrix technologies and integrate learnings into client environments.Qualifications8+ years of experience in Virtualization and Infrastructure support with a strong focus on Citrix and NetScaler ADC (MPX/VPX/SDX).6+ years of hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) and VMware Horizon environments.Experience with Citrix NetScaler Gateway configuration, SSL VPN, traffic management, load balancing, and performance tuning.Solid understanding of AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop), Citrix Cloud, and integrations with Azure AD.Exposure to hardware platforms like Nutanix, Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS is required.Familiarity with monitoring tools such as LogicMonitor, ControlUp, SolarWinds, and Citrix Director.Experience with Managed Services or Consulting environments is a plus.Strong documentation and reporting skills.Proven ability to manage multiple incidents, tasks, and stakeholders in a high-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Relevant certifications such as Citrix Certified Expert (CCE-V), CCIA, NetScaler Certifications, or VMware VCP are strongly preferred.
