As a Production/Oversight Controls specialist, your role will involve working autonomously and collaborating closely within the Trade Support Team in Paris, London, and New York, as well as with the global Trade & Position Life Cycle Team. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring Middle Office activities and Oversight Control of outsourced activities on multiple instruments, ranging from listed instruments to Over-The-Counter derivatives. - Acting as the main point of contact for Trade Support topics internally and managing internal and external requests from key stakeholders such as Investment Teams, Traders, and external providers in a timely manner. - Managing and challenging the middle office service provider when necessary. - Handling queries from internal and external clients mainly across Europe and Asia. - Being particularly analytical and rigorous while performing tasks and meeting deadlines. - Identifying any structural issues, working on root cause detection, and implementing solutions. - Escalating issues to management according to the severity of the problem. - Communicating proactively across the team. - Writing and/or updating operational procedures. In terms of projects and initiatives, you will: - Participate closely in various projects, especially initiatives related to Trade Support as a Subject Matter Expert and ensuring proper processes are defined for the team. - Provide clear input and be vocal in meetings impacting Middle Office subjects. - Drive and propose improvements to current processes, such as automation ideas or process efficiency enhancements. Additionally, you should: - Think out of the box and propose pragmatic solutions with a can-do attitude in case of blocking points. - Build credible, trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organizations. - Work collaboratively with internal departments while pursuing client satisfaction. - Manage and/or escalate conflicts and issues with respective stakeholders proactively. - Provide regular progress updates on issues, projects, and initiatives to the team and manager. - Keep track of all topics currently being worked on while meeting deadlines initially set. Qualifications required for this role include: - At least 3 years of experience in the Middle Office area with exposure to various financial instruments. - Very good knowledge of several asset classes, their workflows, settlements, and collateral management. - Understanding of the full trade life cycle, including awareness of middle and back-office functions/processes. - Strong experience in an international environment. - Experience as a Subject Matter Expert in projects/initiatives and in the Asset Management industry. - Experience in an Outsourced Middle Office model is a real plus.
