Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary and technically proficient MBD Applications Software Development Architect to lead the architecture and design of Model-Based Design (MBD) software solutions for electric powertrain systems. This role involves defining software architecture, ensuring alignment with development processes and best practices, managing technical dependencies, and guiding development teams toward high-quality deliverables. The architect will collaborate across teams, foresee risks, and drive strategic technical decisions to support scalable and maintainable software systems tailored for electric propulsion technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Define and maintain the software architecture for MBD application development projects focused on electric powertrain systems.

Ensure architectural alignment with software development processes and industry best practices.

Review and guide the progress of MBD software development activities for electric propulsion control, energy management, and diagnostics.

Identify technical risks and plan mitigation strategies proactively.

Manage and resolve technical dependencies, integration challenges, and system interfaces.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, project managers, and system engineers.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

Ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance of software architecture.

Support evaluation and adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies relevant to electric powertrain systems.
