Senior AWS Cloud Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Discovery

  • Partner with sales teams to understand client requirements and business goals.
  • Conduct

    technical workshops, demos, and POCs

    to showcase AWS capabilities.
  • Articulate AWS value proposition to technical and business decision-makers.

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Design

    scalable, secure, and resilient AWS architectures

    tailored to client needs.
  • Develop

    cloud migration strategies

    , security frameworks, and

    business continuity plans

    .
  • Prepare

    technical proposals, RFx responses, architecture diagrams

    , and effort estimations.

Presales & Advisory

  • Lead presales discussions with

    CxOs and technical teams

    .
  • Provide

    solution consulting

    , pricing models, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Manage multiple engagements and ensure

    customer satisfaction

    through proactive guidance.

Thought Leadership

  • Stay ahead of AWS innovations and industry trends.
  • Represent the organization at

    conferences, webinars, and client events

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience:

    10–18 years overall, with

    5+ years in AWS cloud solutions

    and

    3+ years in presales/customer-facing roles

    .
  • Certifications:AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

    (mandatory)
  • TOGAF, ITIL, or security certifications (preferred)
  • Technical Expertise:

    Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Expertise in

    cloud migrations, security, disaster recovery

    , and

    architecture best practices

  • Strong understanding of

    modernization strategies and cost optimization
