Sr QA Engineer

You will be part of a renowned global digital engineering firm, Srijan, which is a Material company known for solving complex technology problems using deep technology expertise and strategic partnerships. As a part of this awesome tribe, you will play a crucial role in performing Black Box and Gray Box testing on web applications to ensure comprehensive coverage of all system functionalities. Your responsibilities will include assessing acceptance criteria, identifying and reporting defects, variations, and discrepancies between development deliverables and defined user stories. You will be expected to publish detailed test reports, maintain documentation of testing activities, such as test plans, test cases, and defect reports, to support the team in decision-making. Active engagement in Scrum ceremonies will be essential, collaborating with Product Owners, Agile Coaches, and development teams to prioritize issues, identify risk areas, and resolve blockers. Post-release testing in production environments will also be a part of your role to ensure quality standards are met by working closely with IT and operations teams. Staying updated with industry best practices for testing and identifying areas for improvement will be crucial. Your focus will be on using testing tools like Selenium, Java, Jira, TestRail, and databases with SQL to support testing activities within Agile methodologies and frameworks. Additionally, having the ability to define, execute, and automate regression tests using tools like Selenium and Cypress will be desirable to maintain system stability across multiple iterations and minimize the risk of defects.
