The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end quality ownership across one or more product areas. This role goes beyond execution and framework design to include test strategy definition, quality governance, technical leadership, and proactive risk management. He/she will partner closely with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient software delivery, while continuously improving QA maturity and efficiency.
- Quality Strategy & Delivery
- Own and define comprehensive test strategies covering functional, automation, API, performance, reliability, and regression testing across the SDLC
- Architect and evolve enterprise-grade automation frameworks (UI, API, integration) with long-term scalability and maintainability in mind
- Drive shift-left testing practices, including early validation, contract testing, and production monitoring feedback loops
- Ensure predictable, high-quality releases by proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and quality gaps
- Review and approve test plans, automation approaches, and release readiness from a quality standpoint
- Automation, CI/CD & Engineering Excellence
- Drive automation integration into CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast feedback, quality gates, and release confidence
- Optimize test execution time, stability, and coverage to balance speed, cost, and quality
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable test environments, data strategies, and pipeline observability
- Operations, Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Establish and track quality metrics, KPIs, and dashboards (defect trends, automation ROI, release health)
- Lead defect triage, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive action planning
- Ensure adherence to QA processes, best practices, and organizational quality standards
- Support audits, compliance requirements, and documentation where required
- People Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor junior QA engineers on technical depth, test design, and quality mindset
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and continuous feedback to uplift team capability
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and skill development initiatives for the QA organization
