Sr. QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer, your role will involve understanding product requirements and designing test plans and test cases. You will collaborate with developers to discuss story design, test cases, and code walkthroughs. It will be your responsibility to design an automation strategy for regression test cases and execute tests, while also collaborating with developers to address any issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities: - Design test plan and test cases based on product requirements - Collaborate with developers for story design, test cases, and code walkthroughs - Develop automation strategy for regression test cases - Execute tests and work with developers to resolve issues - Review and enhance unit test coverage - Automate integration and end-to-end tests using Junit, Mockito, Selenium, and Cypress Qualifications Required: - Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in web application testing and test automation - Strong analytical skills - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Familiarity with test design techniques - Knowledge of Agile Development methodology and Scrum - Basic exposure to Java programming for code reading and understanding - Understanding of multi-tier web application deployment and architecture, particularly with SpringBoot - Proficiency in SQL query language - Experience with code investigation using GitHub - Understanding of defect management processes - Exposure to Web Service and API testing - Familiarity with Cucumber for use case driven test automation This company values quality assurance and is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team of professionals.
