Sr QA Automation Engineer (with Playwright, TypeScript & AI Expertise)

Playwright, TypeScript, & Python portfolio is a mandatory! Must understand concepts of AI for potential use in QA processes.

About this Role

We're looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who can own test automation end-to-end, UI, APIs, and pipelines. You’ll write real code, ship clean tests, kill flaky ones, and keep us shipping fast without breaking stuff.

What You’ll Do

• Build UI test flows with Playwright
• Play around with AI tools to improve QA processes
• Automate backend/API tests using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent
• Write smoke tests, regression suites, kill switches, sanity checks
• Wire it all into GitHub pipelines for auto-validation
• Debug failing builds, isolate bugs, log them fast and sharp
• Sync with devs, PMs, and releases to stay ahead of the curve
• Maintain test data and manage test environment

What You Need:

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with modern UI automation tools
• Solid understanding of API testing, version control, and test lifecycle
• Experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and debugging automated test scripts
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6, JMeter) is a plus
• Exposure to testing AI/ML-based systems (Would be nice to have)
