Sr. Purchase Executive- Pharma

As a Purchase Executive for Pharma E-commerce operations, you will play a crucial role in managing procurement activities. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding reliable pharmaceutical vendors and suppliers. - Negotiating terms, pricing, credit, and delivery schedules with suppliers. - Processing purchase orders, quotations, and agreements in line with company policies. - Maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet online demand and avoid stockouts/overstocking. - Tracking, monitoring, and following up on order deliveries to ensure timelines are met. - Coordinating with warehouse and operations teams for stock reconciliation. - Ensuring all purchases comply with regulatory requirements (Drug License, GST, etc.). - Maintaining accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and MIS reports. - Developing strong vendor relationships for long-term business benefits. Key Skills & Competencies: - Strong knowledge of pharma products, brands, and suppliers. - Good understanding of procurement processes and vendor negotiations. - Familiarity with regulatory & compliance norms in pharma (FDA, DCGI, etc.). - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/Inventory management software. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications & Experience: - Graduate in Pharmacy / BBA / Commerce (MBA in Supply Chain or Pharma Management preferred). - 2-4 years of experience in pharma purchase/procurement, preferably in e-commerce or retail pharmacy. - Knowledge of healthcare supply chain, drug distribution, and vendor networks.
