Sr. Purchase Engineer

As a Senior Purchase Engineer, your role will involve: - Analyzing raw material & other required routine material consumption data. - Making a system to maintain minimum stock level by coordinating with stores & also maintaining stock. - Conducting Vendor Audits. - Training team members. - Working towards reduction in cost, transport & courier expenses. - Performing cost analysis & making decisions accordingly. - Minimizing cash purchases. - Ensuring on-time delivery dispatch. - Researching & developing in the purchase of materials, focusing on quality improvement & cost reduction. - Labor service cost reduction initiatives. Qualifications required for this role: - 3 to 5 years of work experience. - Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management. - Strong negotiation and networking skills. - Ability to gather and analyze data, and work with figures. - Solid judgment and decision-making skills. - Strong leadership capabilities. - Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Automobile. - Preferably from an Engineering or Sheet Metal Industry background. - Experience in team management.
