Sr. Project Architect

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership & Planning

• Lead architectural design for mid-to-large scale projects from concept to completion.
  
• Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  
• Coordinate with project managers to create detailed work plans and schedules.
  
• Ensure design solutions align with project budgets and constraints.
  

2. Design Development & Technical Excellence

• Create and review conceptual, schematic, and detailed architectural designs.
  
• Develop technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
  
• Ensure design accuracy, code compliance, and adherence to building standards.
  
• Review structural, MEP, and civil integration for holistic design solutions.
  
• Perform quality checks for architectural drawings and deliverables.
  

3. Coordination & Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal teams: planners, designers, engineers, BIM specialists.
  
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs during construction.
  
• Facilitate communication between client, consultants, and project teams.
  

4. Client Management

• Act as the primary architectural point of contact for clients.
  
• Conduct design presentations, workshops, and progress meetings.
  
• Translate client requirements into functional and aesthetic design solutions.
  
• Manage client expectations and handle design revisions.
  

5. Site Supervision & Execution Support

• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress.
  
• Verify execution aligns with approved designs and specifications.
  
• Resolve design and technical issues on-site quickly and effectively.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  

6. Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare architectural reports, progress documentation, and regulatory submissions.
  
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and permits.
  
• Maintain organized records of approvals, revisions, and project documentation.
  

7. Leadership & Mentoring

• Guide junior architects, interns, and design team members.
  
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship for skill development.
  
• Support recruitment and performance evaluations for architectural teams.
  

8. Innovation & Best Practices

• Recommend new design technologies, sustainable practices, and materials.
  
• Oversee the integration of BIM, parametric design, and digital tools.
  
• Ensure continuous improvement in design quality and project delivery.
  

Preferred candidate profile

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch).
  
• Licensed / Registered Architect (preferred depending on region).
  
• Certification in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or sustainability (LEED / GRIHA) is a plus.
  

Experience

• 15-18 years

  of progressive architectural experience.
• Proven track record of leading

  mid-to-large scale commercial, residential, institutional, or industrial projects

  .
• Strong background in concept development, design detailing, and managing construction documentation.
  
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, landscape).
