Senior Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning and execution of on-site civil works, including construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.
  
• Manage end-to-end project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, resource planning, and contractor supervision.
  
• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.
  
• Supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to design, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, and government authorities to obtain necessary approvals and support seamless project execution.
  
• Conduct regular site inspections and technical assessments to monitor progress and resolve issues.
  
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, statutory regulations, and best engineering practices.
  
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and project staff.
  
• Prepare and present detailed project progress reports, proposals, and engineering solutions to management and clients.
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
  
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer certification is an added advantage.
  
• 8–15 years of proven experience in civil engineering, particularly in building construction and infrastructure projects.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Civil 3D, or similar design and analysis software.
  
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, safety standards, and legal regulations.
  
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  
• Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
  

Preferred Experience In:

• High-rise and commercial buildings, including basement construction
  
• Contract management (e.g., FIDIC or equivalent)
  
• Experience working with PMC (Project Management Consultancy) firms is an added advantage
  
• Quality assurance and safety compliance on large-scale projects
