Sr. Merchandiser

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyzing market trends, customer behavior to anticipate product demands and identify manufacturers or suppliers for product development and delivery.
• Understanding customer requirements and helping them to obtain the right products in right price and at the right time.
• Collaborating with buyer and supplier for sample development, sample approval and order confirmation to ensure on time order delivery.
• Handle inspection responsibilities to maintain product quality and shipment accuracy by coordinating with suppliers.
• Manage and visit the dedicated customer list for specific zone -wise work to understand their needs.
• Developing and implementing merchandising strategies for supporting team to find out new suppliers and products.
• Prepare costing sheets, order sheets and Time and Action Plan.
• Supervising and mentoring zone-wise team.

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of Textile and Garment production and costing.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Excellent negotiation, communication and management skills.
• Senior Merchandisers must also have a keen eye for detail.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Textile Engineering / Technology / Fashion Designing / Diploma in Garment Merchandising / Handloom Technology / BBA, B. A, B. Com, B. Com (H) or related field.
• 7-12 Years.
