Sr. Merchandiser

The Merchandiser Manager in Home Textiles based in Karur will lead the merchandising lifecycle, ensuring that home textile products meet international quality, compliance, and sustainability standards. With 815 years of experience in home textile merchandising, the ideal candidate will have a background in B.Tech (Textile Technology), B.Sc (Textile Design), or MBA (Textile Management or International Business preferred). Responsibilities will include managing client accounts, ensuring Time & Action adherence, and facilitating communication between sales, product development, sourcing, and production. Key tasks involve buyer account management, product development and sampling, costing and negotiation, Time & Action (TNA) management, compliance, logistics, documentation, and team leadership. Technical skills required for this role encompass a deep understanding of textile constructions such as Percale, Sateen, Dobby, Jacquard, and finishing techniques like Bio-polishing, Mercerizing, and ERP/PLM system familiarity. Proficiency in Excel, CAD systems, and design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator is advantageous.
