Sr. Manager/AGM(Maintenance-Projects)-Kachchh, Gujarat

Job Purpose:

Being a part of Project Management team, all Mechanical Construction/Erection, Installation within time & budgeted cost, according to specification with quality, safety & environment consider as the priorities.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Control:

• Review, update & maintain the base line of project planning.
• Daily site erection planning & resources report to be prepared and submitted to Site Head.

Preparation of Site construction Budget, monitor & control:

• Prepare construction budget (direct & Indirect cost) and submit for approval.
• Prepare Fund flow requirement and control as per approved budget.
• Prepare Budget Vs Actual sheet & submit to management.

Project Coordination:

• Coordination with internal & external Project stakeholders for timely site mobilisation/deliverable as per schedule.
• Coordination with site Store for availability of material as per schedule.
• Conduct site kick of meeting with Contractors and ensure about the resources as per base line schedule.
• Coordination with head office Project team for construction drawings & material requirement as per schedule.
• Coordination with Head office project team for any change requirement in design or in construction drawings.

Quality Management:

• Prepare a QAP (Quality Assurance Plan) for site Fabrication/execution/erection activities:
• QAP must be approved before starting the work for Raw material like pipe, Flange & fittings, Structure material, etc.
• Inspection must be carried out of incoming material as per QAP at site & documentation dossier to be keep for future reference.
• Inspection must be carried out as approved Erection QAP of piping, structure, Tanks & rotary items.

Safety Management:

• Preparation of Work permit to contractor for HOT & COLD Work & get approval of the same from Safety department & Site Head.
• Assure the safety certificate of all lifting machinery and equipment like Cranes, Hydra, chain pulley, and Belts.
• Verify and implement the safety at contractor for proper PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).

Construction Management:

• Adequate Knowledge about the standards & codes (like ASME Section -VIII, Div.1, ASME B 16.5 & B31.3) of Fabrication of Static Equipment, Structure & Piping Isometrics.
• Review of issued mechanical construction drawings, and prepare BOQ
• Prepare and submit DPR (Daily Progress Report) of all mechanical execution activities in respect to contractor Manpower, Project Store material in respect to project plan.
• Responsible for implementation of the scope of work as related to construction/ fabrication, pre- of Work, and in accordance with the approved Project Schedule.
• Ensures all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors

Academic & Professional Qualifications:

B. Tech/ B.E in Mechanical

Experience Required:

Minimum 10 years of proven working experience in chemical Industry projects
