As an Sr Manager - Pharmacy at Continental Hospitals, your role is crucial in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring smooth functioning, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. Your responsibilities include: - Staff Management: - Supervising pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff. - Scheduling shifts and maintaining adequate staffing levels. - Providing training and development opportunities for staff. - Inventory Management: - Maintaining adequate inventory of medications and supplies. - Managing stock levels, ordering medications, and overseeing storage. - Implementing strategies to reduce waste and control costs. - Compliance and Safety: - Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. - Overseeing safety and cleanliness protocols. - Maintaining proper documentation for audits and inspections. - Customer Service: - Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback. - Ensuring accurate and timely prescription filling. - Collaborating with healthcare providers for optimal patient care. - Financial Management: - Monitoring the pharmacy's financial performance. - Controlling costs and meeting revenue goals. - Preparing reports on sales, inventory, and performance metrics. - Quality Control: - Overseeing quality assurance to ensure accurate medication dispensing. - Conducting regular checks for medication errors or expired stock. - Technology Management: - Managing pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory. - Utilizing technology to streamline operations and improve accuracy.
