Job Description

Designation - Sr Manager/ Manager - Brake Design

R&D (Bus/Tractor & Truck Aggregate Design & Development)

Work Location - Hyderabad- Seetharampur Plant

Lead and own of the design and development of brake system for bus, Tractor and Truck vehicle.
Do brake system level calculation for meeting the vehicle level criteria as per IS norms.
Ensure timely execution of product development phases, including concept, design, prototyping, testing, and production.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on product development issues related to the brake aggregates.
Review system level DFMEA for brake aggregate and implement the actions in design.
Identify potential design issues during testing and initiate corrective actions as necessary and update system level DFMEA
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability of aggregates. Review DFA , DFM and DFS with the CFT team before design release.
Manage and oversee the complete development lifecycle for bus/truck aggregate systems, ensuring all timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Knowledge of CAD/Cre O software and CAE tools for design and analysis.
Knowledge of Product lifecycle management (PLM) process for releasing the aggregate.
Digital Mock-Up(DMU) review of Aggregates

Key Competency:

Worked with OEM for pneumatic brake system , with designing brake circuit and valve design.
Strong understanding of IS regulation required to meet brake performance target
Proficient in using tools like Cro E and drawing preparation.
Experience working with EBS + ESC and AEBS
