HIRING FOR FIELD PARTS ENGINEER FOR OUR AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY Job Title Field Parts Engineer(only Field Job) Department/Unit Marketing Location-- RAJKOT Reporting to Regional Manager Purpose Meet sales targets for the Independent After Market segment in the identified territory. Scope Brake Parts, Brake Fluid, Coolant and Ez Clean product segment and any other product segment as launched by the company. 3. Roles & Responsibilities Functional • Estimates targets for sales (product wise & segment wise) in the identified territory in order to achieve the targeted growth rates. • Monitors GAPs in sales, identify, implement action plans and monitor improvements in order to ensure the targets are met. • Identifies and develops potential markets for increasing sales. • Develops Dealer in order to increase the reach for our products in the territory. • Provides relevant inputs related to our products and pricing to our distributors, dealers and end users in order to increase the range of products sold. • Identifies product acceptability GAPS in the market, plans promotional activities and monitor improvements in order to improve the awareness and acceptability for our products. • Suggests areas for improvement at our distributor branches in order to improve territory coverage and range of products sold. • Reviews orders & stocks levels with distributor branches so as to ensure availability of parts. • Recommends warranty acceptance/rejection based on product inspection and as per the warranty policy of the organization to ensure good products are available in the market. • Co-ordinates on payment issues (collection / reconciliation) with the distributor branches inorder to ensure the collections are in line with the organisations policies and statutory requirements are met. Budgeting • Provides input to manager on sales growth and other relevant heads to help prepare budget for the region Cost Management • Monitors expenses related to freight and ensures effective utilization of resources Management Reporting • Prepares reports related to the performance in terms of production requirements, payment collection etc. and forwards to manager for review. People Responsibilities • Reviews continuously on the product awareness levels (range and pricing) with the distributor salesmen and provide relevant training to improve their knowledge on our products. • Interacts with Dealers in order to enhance their awareness on our products and and range in order to increase our product coverage. Apply only Female candidate Roles and Responsibilities Experience of 9+ years in Brake system of LCV/ICV/HCV/SCV Part Concept readiness and Development drawing releases on CATIA and DMU finalisation Develop Pneumatic / Hydraulic actuated Brake System in order to meet targets / specs based on QFD / RFE studies by working out systems keeping in mind cost / quality requirements at Vehicle level. Create project plan for new projects having Brake System adaptation and work out product and project cost by calculating the costs based on first principle basis and estimate capital investment Create along with CAE the CAE DVP for Brake system to ensure robustness of the systems by ensuring that the DVP requirements are met. Build prototype assemblies for design verification on test rig and at vehicle level as per Customer Input Requirements to address DFA / DFM issues. Parts to be procured by coordinating between Materials Management and vendor. Validate the prototype parts to ensure that the performance and reliability targets set during concept phase are met by testing the prototype assemblies as per agreed DVP based on RWUP. Description : Person should under stand Casting. Person should know 2W wheel Standards like ITAC/ ETRTO / JATMA. Person should know Brakes standard like IS-14664 and should be able to calculate Stopping distance, MFDD, and Brake Efficiency. Person should be able to calculate Leaver Ratio and Package Disc and Drum Brakes. Person should be able to do brake Routing. Should be good in GDNT.

Purpose of the Position : To manage and develop brake system components including actuation, foundation brakes ABS/ ESC, EPB, Handbrake and other peripherals to meet current and future Indian product includes Hybrids, BEV and manufacturing requirements. Engage in development of new technologies for brake system eg. E booster, One Box/ Two Box system, Vacuum pumps, ADAS Integration. Skills Required : Self-starting, self-motivation, working with little guidance with good analytical skills. Ability to think in a wider scope, ability to plan and develop a structure Excellent communication skills, English in written and verbal form, German / Czech Language Proficiency would be an added advantage Deep Technical analysis, problem solving and understanding of drive shaft, mounts and components A Deep understanding of Indian Automobile market, vehicles, customer, product requirements and an ability to motivate and reason for it. Time Management along with Quality Consciousness. Driving License, vehicle ABS/ ESC and brake test capability Key Responsibilities &Tasks: Coordination and cooperation with the external suppliers. Develop, propose and coordinate all solutions and steps in terms of localization in India for corner modules child parts front and rear axle, and fuel system . Analyze problems; propose the measures and Support for Quality issues / Benchmarking activities. Documentation management (Part list Management; Creation of Aekos, Deviation Permits, Change requests, Bill of material). Evaluation of all ECR related to spring & damper systems which are of relevance to cars in India. Creation and Presentation of status sheets in Pilot hall, Presentation of project status in various forums, Project time line and project monitoring till BMG. Be a communication link for Data and Information Exchange between R & D SK/VW, VW group and various agencies of SAVW India like Purchase, SRM, Program Management, logistics, Assembly, Production, and outside VW India like suppliers, NSC, test agency etc. Homologation support to whole vehicle department related to spring & damper System. Supplier scouting and evaluation of R&D capability of the external part suppliers.
