Job Description

Chartered Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Lead the
Direct Taxation portfolio
across the Group.
Manage
tax assessments, appeals, litigation & tax planning
.
Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance & tax filings.
Advise management on
strategic tax planning & risk mitigation
.
Handle
FEMA compliance & cross-border taxation matters
.
Support
M&A transactions
including tax due diligence, structuring & advisory.
Liaise with tax authorities, consultants & auditors for assessments and clarifications.
Stay updated on changes in
Direct Tax, Corporate Tax & FEMA regulations.
Provide insights to management on
tax implications of strategic decisions.

Preferred candidate profile

Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7 to 12 years of post-qualification experience
.
Preferred Qualified
CA between 2013 to 2019
.
In-depth knowledge of
Direct Taxation, Income Tax Act, Transfer Pricing, FEMA & Corporate Taxation.
Hands-on experience in
FEMA, M&A advisory & tax structuring
.
Strong exposure to
tax, compliance, assessments, appeals & litigation
.
Excellent
analytical, leadership & stakeholder management skills.
Candidate with Family Office experience will be advantage.
