Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships with clients in the EB & Non EB sectors, leading the business development team, identifying potential clients through market research, and generating revenue as per monthly/quarterly/annual plans. Your role will also involve preparing proposals/RFQ, maintaining ethical business practices, providing regular reports to management, acquiring knowledge about insurance products, attending meetings, assessing clients" insurance needs, negotiating policy terms, arranging insurance cover, and closing business leads. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a willingness to travel and self-drive. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain business relationships with clients in the EB & Non EB sectors - Lead the business development team - Identify potential clients through market research and business intelligence - Generate revenue as per monthly/quarterly/annual plans - Prepare proposals/RFQ in consultation with clients - Maintain ethical business practices and diplomatic relationships with stakeholders - Provide regular reports (MIS) to management - Acquire and update knowledge about various insurance products - Schedule and attend meetings - Discuss and assess clients" current and future insurance needs - Research insurance policies and products - Negotiate policy terms and costs with insurance providers - Arrange insurance cover for clients - Close business leads as per benchmark - Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills - Willingness to travel - Self-driven Qualification Required: - 5 to 15 years of experience in the insurance broking industry, with expertise in sales, marketing, business development, or corporate relations - Strong market control and an established client base in the corporate and SME sectors - Proven track record in building high-value partnerships and driving growth through strategic initiatives - Minimum 3-5 years of consistent employment in key roles with previous employers - Formal and written communication skills, marketing skills, negotiation skills, and rapport maintenance - Experience with good local connections - Familiarity with Variables, Medical Insurance, PA insurance - Capacity to set up new branches across PAN India CTC: As per industry standard Note: This job requires in-person work.,
