The ideal candidate for this position must come from the Insurance Broking Industry with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development within corporate insurance broking companies. It is essential that the candidate demonstrates consistency with a minimum of 3 years at one company and possesses strong connections with Corporates in the proposed market. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in Revenue Generation as per monthly/quarterly/annual plans. Responsibilities include building and maintaining business relationships with clients, leading the business development team, identifying potential clients through market research, and generating revenue according to set plans. The candidate will be responsible for preparing proposals/RFQ in consultation with clients, maintaining ethical business practices, providing periodical reports to management, and acquiring knowledge about various insurance products. Other duties involve scheduling and attending meetings, assessing clients" insurance needs, researching insurance policies and products, negotiating terms and costs with providers, and arranging insurance cover for clients. The successful candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be willing to travel, and be self-driven. Desired skills include formal and written communication, marketing skills, negotiation, and rapport maintenance. Experience with good local connections, knowledge of variables, medical insurance, and PA insurance is preferred. The individual should have the capacity to set up new branches across PAN India.
