Description
As the Lead Master Mariner FPSO, your primary role is to exhibit exemplary safety and managerial leadership in all matters pertaining to Marine Operation and Assurance for FPSO under the authority of the OIM / Marine Superintendent. You will ensure that ISM / ISPS implementation on board FPSO and activities of Marine discipline, including operational procedures of the equipment, are correctly defined, followed, and available. Your responsibilities include: - Liaising effectively with other key management personnel to ensure safety, integrity, maintenance, and operations in line with company procedures and during Offtake operations. - Ensuring adherence to industry best practices and compliance with statutory, regulatory, and quality requirements on board the FPSO. - Acting as the Marine focal point for Operation and Assurance, responsible for organizing and managing specific operation and assurance related to Marine activities. - Managing all operations related to cargo, slop, ballast systems, and associated equipment, including stability of the vessel. - Overseeing all bunker stations, loading/offloading systems, and associated equipment. - Managing all systems and operations associated with offloading, tandem offloading, including hydraulic systems, winches, QCDC, hoses, hoses reels, and hawsers. - Ensuring safety control systems related to export operations, communications, SPM telemetry, emergency shutdown, QCDC, hawser release, load cell, metering system, and FPSO Hull integrity. - Supervising navigational equipment, telecommunication systems, Berthing aid system, Navigation aids, Motion reference unit, Meteorological station, and Offshore field monitoring system. - Managing the Marine/logistic team, including access control management, and the export Tanker/Tugs/Crafts. - Highlighting any concerns during operations/maintenance of Marine systems/equipment or deviations from availability and reliability targets to the management. - Ensuring compliance with Statutes/Flag and legal legislations applicable for the FPSO and managing the FPSO statutory certifications follow-up, conservation, and archiving. - Assisting HSE, production, maintenance, and inspection teams in typical Marine-related activities for FPSO and monitoring the availability of Safety critical elements. - Reviewing Emergency preparedness periodically, risk assessment/JSA for Critical Marine activities, implementing PTW systems in operation activities, reviewing SOPs and SMPs, MOC (Management of Change), and supporting the implementation of approved MOCs. - Identifying training needs annually, validating requirements of competencies, preparing a training calendar, conducting evaluation of the learning effectiveness post-training, and upgrading required competencies for safe operations and maintenance. Qualification Required: - Certificate of Competency Master Marine (F.G.) - BST/HUET or BOSIET Certification Experience Requirement: - Minimum 15 years of experience in the Marine field as a Marine officer. - 3 years of experience as a Master on board Tankers. - 2 years of experience in FPSO/SPM berthing/unberthing as a Port Captain/Pilot. Skills & Competencies: - Strong communication, Marine, and analytical skills with expertise in the use of applicable onboard programs. - Specific understanding of Marine operations/assurance and a broad understanding of Ship management related processes of FPSO. - Full compliance with all ISM/ISPS/HSE requirements at all times and managing Marine emergency situations. - Supervisory experience of Permit to Work, Mechanical/Electrical isolation standards, and Risk assessment. - Good stakeholder management, creative thinking, persuasive mindset, with a "can-do" attitude. - Meticulous, flexible, versatile, determined, and capable of assertive and positive communication and performance.,
