Job Description

Extensive experience with Oracle database administration.
Good to have (more than 1): MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MYSQL, MSSQL, Aerospike, Redis.
Administering and supporting multiple databases for performance critical, highly available systems on UNIX/Linux platform.
Expertise in Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, ZDLRA)
Proficiency in RAC (Real Application Cluster)/Dataguard/ ASM (Automatic Storage Management)
Database Installation, Configuration, Patch Management, Upgradation, Migration, Monitoring and Administration of Production databases supporting mission-critical activities
Experience in Oracle Security products like Audit Vault, Key Vault, Database firewall, AVDF.
Proficiency in backup/recovery – RMAN
Deep knowledge of Oracle Database concepts and strong performance tuning skills.
Knowledge on concepts of any Cloud (GCP/AWS/OCI/Azure)
OEM Expertise- Configuration and management.
Oracle Active Data Guard – Implementation, troubleshooting.
Knowledge of UNIX & Linux Environments.
Troubleshoot complex technical problems under pressure
Golden gate – Implementation, management and troubleshooting.
Ability to gather requirements, assess and recommend solutions to ensure High Availability and stability.
Scripting - Shell, Python.
Contribute to a variety of documentation such as strategies, plans, designs, configuration standards, metrics, etc.
