About the Role

  • We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Sr. IT Support & System Administrator who will be responsible for managing and supporting a global IT environment.
  • This individual will play a critical role in ensuring seamless operations, system efficiency, security compliance, and timely IT support across our distributed teams.
  • The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong background in Microsoft & Google ecosystem administration, patch management, endpoint protection, network troubleshooting, VPN setup (NordVPN preferred), Intune configuration, and hardware/software support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle desktop support, hardware and software troubleshooting, and resolve IT service requests globally.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer components, peripherals, and system software.
  • Lead day-to-day IT operations including onboarding/off boarding coordination with HR.
  • Manage Microsoft/Google services including migrations, updates, patching, and licensing compliance.
  • Administer system operations including monitoring, reporting, auditing, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
  • Set up and manage NordVPN, Intune, Active Directory, and user access controls.
  • Maintain virtual environments and implement automation wherever applicable.
  • Work with global teams (offshore and onshore) to ensure timely resolution and operational continuity.
  • Maintain security protocols and ensure system protection against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide helpdesk leadership and minimize disruptions by resolving IT issues promptly.
  • Contribute to the delivery of IT services within agreed service levels and budgets.
  • Identify and implement service improvements without compromising quality or security.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Associate or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in system or network administration.
  • Certifications in Microsoft/Google or equivalent technologies are a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure AD, Windows Server, and Intune.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, security standards, and IT infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of virtualization technologies and automation tools.
  • Proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • In-depth experience in implementing and enhancing helpdesk and IT operations practices.
  • Advanced understanding of security measures, data storage, protection strategies, and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A service-oriented mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Clear written and verbal communication across global teams.
  • A collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork and support delivery.
