Sr. IT Support & System Administrator

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and client-focused IT Support & System Administrator to join our global technology team. This role requires not only strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, security, and migrations but also excellent communication and client-handling skills to ensure a seamless IT experience for internal teams and external stakeholders.The ideal candidate will combine technical depth with a service-oriented mindset, ensuring IT operations run smoothly while building strong relationships with business users and clients across geographies.Key ResponsibilitiesMicrosoft Ecosystem & Securityo Implement, operate, and maintain Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and Intune.o Configure and support Azure Single Sign-On integrations.o Collaborate with Security team to manage Microsoft Security Stack and enterprise-wide security protocols.o Manage patch updates, compliance, preventative maintenance, and optimization.Migrations & Infrastructureo Lead and execute Windows, email, and cloud migrations.o Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions.o Manage upgrades, performance optimization, and capacity planning.Helpdesk & Global IT Supporto Provide L1L3 support across systems, networks, and databases.o Lead helpdesk operations ensuring issues are resolved promptly with minimal disruption.o Act as a trusted IT partner for teams and clients, delivering clear, professional, and timely communication.o Handle day-to-day IT queries for globally distributed users with a strong customer-service approach.IT Asset & Lifecycle Managemento Manage IT asset inventory, ensuring accurate records.o Coordinate courier/delivery and receipt of assets during onboarding/off boarding in tandem with HR team.Operations & Continuous Improvementso Conduct system monitoring, reporting & auditing.o Identify, assess, and implement service cost improvements while maintaining risk and performance standards.o Integrate automation to streamline IT processes and enhance efficiency.o Apply IT operations best practices, ensuring user satisfaction and reliability.o Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Graph API, Power Automate) for provisioning, reporting, and lifecycle management.o Implement monitoring and alerting for proactive issue resolution.o Create playbooks and documentation for Ops and Support teams.Design, Deploy & Manage Teams Environmento Lead the architecture, configuration, and deployment of Microsoft Teams (including Teams Rooms, Teams Phone/Voice, and Teams Live Events).o Integrate Teams with Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, etc.) and third-party apps.o Configure and manage Teams policies, compliance, governance, and lifecycle management.Voice & Collaboration Engineeringo Implement and manage Teams Phone System, Direct Routing, and Calling Plans.o Configure SBCs (Session Border Controllers) and ensure PSTN integration.o Oversee Teams meeting rooms and devices (Poly, Crestron, Logitech, etc.).Qualifications & ExperienceAssociate or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).58 years progressive experience in IT/system administration (L1L3).Hands-on expertise in:o Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Microsoft Security Stack, Azure SSOo Microsoft 365 Administration, Windows Server, Active Directoryo Google Workspace & Google Cloud administrationo Networking protocols, system security, storage, backups, and disaster recoveryExperience with virtualization, scripting, and automation tools.Microsoft/CompTIA or equivalent certifications are a plus.Proven track record in client-facing IT support with strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
