About the Role

Senior Firmware Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and debug ECU firmware across all product development phases.
Specify, design, and implement functionality and behaviors of embedded subsystems.
Deliver high-quality C code for real-time embedded environments.
Design software architecture and implement firmware on hardware through integration and testing.
Perform hands-on hardware bring-up, system debugging, and code optimization.
Write unit and component-level tests to ensure proper functionality.
Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements.
Mentor and guide junior engineers to deliver production-ready firmware.

Required Qualifications & Skills

10+ years of experience in embedded systems for Automotive, EV, or Industrial applications.
Strong expertise in
Embedded C
development.
Proficient in
microcontroller programming
and
hardware debugging
using lab equipment.
Hands-on experience with
version control tools
(Git, SVN, etc.).
Strong knowledge of
communication protocols
: CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet.
Experience in
ECU software development
and real-time embedded environments.

Good to Have

Experience with
RTOS
.
3+ years in Automotive or EV domain.
Knowledge of
UDS (ISO 14229), CANopen
protocols.
Understanding of
EV powertrains
and
functional safety (ASIL)
standards.
