• Position: Senior Financial Accountant (Australian Accounting)

• Department :

  Finance

• Reporting : Finance Manager (based at Australia)

• Location : Bangalore

Job Profile:

• Lead & manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with accounting standards of Australia.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are accurately maintained and discrepancies are resolved.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor queries.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Analyze financial data and trends to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Desired Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CA qualification (Or studying towards) certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Financial accounting especially for Australia country.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards as per Australian accounting standard.
• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Having Strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
