Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Receive, process and reconcile accounting documents including invoices, departmental billings, employee reimbursements, cash receipts, vendor statements, and journal vouchers
Post journal entries in the system, in accordance with accounting principles and SOPs
Carry out monthly
Bank and Cash reconciliations
of accounts
Make and check necessary calculations; review on-line transactions for changes, accuracy and correct errors
Resolve queries of vendors / departments / banks, as necessary
Prepare and maintain adequate documentation of key controls and
daily accounting activities
including
monthly closures
Prepare and maintain monthly, periodic and annual financial,
MIS reports
and account summaries
Ensure adherence to accounting principles and compliance to relevant regulations
Ensure compliance to control guidelines and corporate audit policies as prescribed
Ensure adherence to SOPs while processing transactions, accounting activities
Assist in the development of spread sheets, documents, graphs and power point presentations, as necessary

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce required.

Minimum of 1+ years

Manufacturing, Engineering, or Industrial Products

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
