Sr. Executive/ Asstt. Manager-Purchase, Project

Role Overview: As a Sr. Executive/ Asstt. Manager-Purchase, Project at India Glycols Limited, your main objective is to handle all purchasing and sourcing activities related to Electrical items for the Kashipur, Gorakhpur, and Dehradun plants. Your role will be crucial in meeting the company's strategic and operational objectives, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and driving cost savings through effective negotiations and vendor management. Key Responsibilities: - Receive purchase requisitions from the plants via SAP and create RFQ's, floating enquiries to at least 3-5 approved vendors - Review and compare vendor quotations based on quality, service, risk, cost, and delivery aspects - Finalize vendors based on L1 basis, Authorized dealer, or OEM basis with approval from section head & HOD - Generate Purchase Orders in SAP (MM Module) and follow-up with vendors for timely delivery - Conduct negotiations with vendors to secure best quality products at competitive prices - Explore new vendors, assess their profiles, negotiate terms, and complete vendor creation process in collaboration with accounts and SAP departments - Submit monthly KPI/KRA reports within the first week of every month, focusing on job training, cost-saving initiatives, and technology enhancements - Participate in internal department trainings and vendor seminars to stay updated with market trends and processes - Assist in testing SAP T-codes, developing new scenarios, and coordinating with SAP department for any new developments Qualification Required: - B.Tech in Electrical Engineering - 3-5 years of experience in procurement and sourcing Additional Details of the Company: India Glycols Limited is a leading company in the procurement industry, specializing in sourcing and cost negotiation for Electrical items across multiple plants.
