Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee and manage the organisations financial operations, with a strong focus on Balance Sheet finalisation, MIS reporting, and accounting in Tally ERP. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing end-to-end accounting processes, financial reporting, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage preparation, review, and finalisation of monthly, quarterly, and annual Balance Sheets.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations ensuring accurate entries in Tally ERP.
• Drive preparation of Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for senior management, ensuring actionable insights on financial performance.
• Ensure timely closing of books of accounts, reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer), and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors (internal and external) for statutory audits, tax audits, and other financial reviews.
• Monitor cash flows, working capital, and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
• Lead and mentor the accounts team to achieve accurate and timely reporting.

Key Requirements:

• Qualifications: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com with relevant experience.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of core accounting and finance experience, with hands-on expertise in:
• • Balance Sheet preparation and finalisation
• • MIS design and reporting
• • Tally ERP accounting software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of direct and indirect tax compliance is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Experience in automating MIS and reporting processes.
• Exposure to ERP migrations or Tally customisation will be advantageous.
