Sr. Engineer Safety

As a Safety Specialist, your primary role will be to ensure up-to-date documentation of standards, guidelines, procedures, and training modules. You will also be responsible for achieving deliverables set by the network steering team/subcommittee. Your key responsibilities will include: - Participating in audits of the relevant area of competency - Supporting audits of the area/plant you are responsible for - Conducting Safety Observations as per the target in your area of responsibility - Analyzing Safety Observations to identify actions to modify behaviors - Ensuring participation in Risk Management programs such as Hazard Analysis, Incident Investigation, and control measures identification and completion - Imparting training to enhance the competency of the target group in your area of work - Participating in external Industry Bodies, trade associations, and Global Forums - Planning and conducting Safety promotions to increase awareness in areas needing attention Your skills and competencies should include technical understanding of operations, coaching ability, influencing skills, persistence, analysis, auditing, technical facilitation, communication, interpersonal skills, and political understanding, as well as strategic understanding. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering - Certification as a Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent - Industry-recognized expertise in HSE If there are any additional details about the company in the job description, they should be included here.,
