As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily production activities to meet targets and uphold quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning, monitoring, and managing daily production activities to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards. - Supervising and guiding the production team to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. - Optimizing the utilization of manpower, machines, and materials for increased productivity and reduced wastage. - Analyzing production data and key performance indicators to identify bottlenecks and implement necessary corrective actions. - Collaborating with the Quality and Supply Chain teams to facilitate seamless operations. - Leading initiatives for continuous improvement such as Kaizen, 5S, and Lean practices. - Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Training and developing production staff to enhance team performance and technical skills. - Maintaining documentation related to production reports, shift handovers, and audits. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Automobile / Industrial or relevant field). - 4-8 years of experience in a production environment, with a preference for prior supervisory roles. - Experience in seat manufacturing is advantageous. - Proficiency in shop-floor operations, team management, and production planning. Skills and Competencies: - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment. - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, or similar productivity tools. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. - Effective communication and leadership skills. - Proficient in MS Office tools.
