Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Scheduling and Forecasting

Develop and manage daily/weekly/monthly generation schedules for solar plants.
Utilize forecasting tools and predictive analytics based on weather patterns and historical data.
Coordinate closely with SLDC and internal teams to ensure compliant and efficient scheduling.
Track deviations and ensure real-time corrections as required.

2. Performance Monitoring

Monitor plant performance through SCADA and other digital monitoring platforms.
Evaluate key performance indicators such as PR, CUF, grid availability, and breakdown trends.
Identify underperformance and drive corrective actions with O&M teams.
Prepare and publish periodic performance reports.

3. Data Analytics & Reporting

Collect, validate and analyze plant operational data including generation, downtime, and environmental parameters.
Conduct root cause analysis for production losses and efficiency gaps.
Develop dashboards, automated reports, and visualization tools for management review.
Support implementation of data-driven initiatives to improve asset health and uptime.

4. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to achieve business objectives.
Participate in meetings with SLDC, OEMs, and other stakeholders regarding scheduling, grid coordination, and technical issues.
Communicate actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
