Supplier Quality Assurance RESPONSIBILITIES & ROLE:
1) New Programme support. • Support early design print reviews & Sign off. • Support supplier selection process with quality performance analysis and audits. • Planning & executing joint ISIR( Initial Sample Inspection Report) activity at supplier premises. • Supplier Process Validation and sign off. • Supplier PPAP approval & Level 5 PPAP audit for critical parts.
2) New Supplier Development.
• Supplier Risk Assessment. • Approval of Right Supplier. • Implementing VST standards and requirements.
3) Supplier improvement with respect to QCDSM.
• Drive continuous improvement projects at supplier. • Planning & executing routine suppliers process audits & systematic closer of the NCs observed during audit. • Drive operational excellence activities in Supply chain. • Supplier PPM reduction. • Increase No.of ZERO PPM Suppliers & No.of Green Channel Parts ( DOL).l
REQUIREMENTS:
1.Sound Knowledge in Casting & Forging Process, Machined Casting & Forging and special processes like heat treatment, plating etc. 2.Sound Knowledge in Metallurgy & GD&T Requirements. 3. Problem Solving, Establish the process & controls at supplier end. 4.Hands on experience on SPC, APQP, PPAP, Onsite inspection of Parts, ISO 9001, IATF16949, Quality tools, problem solving Techniques etc. 5.Experience in handling Higher HP Tractor parts, preferred. 6.Frequent Travel & Supplier visit. 7.Good analytical ability, six sigma Green /Yellow belt are preferred. 8.Good communication skill.
